In the early winter, the meaning of Chengdu was weak, and the good news of the Soviet merchants in Sichuan was spread again. On November 20, 1919, the first member congress of the 4th Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce was successfully held in Chengdu, attended by more than 120 member representatives from all over the province. Mr. Wang Zhaocai, chairman of the group, was elected vice president of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan Province.
The conference was opened with the sound of the National Anthem of the people's Republic of China. Chen Shengying, honorary president and Secretary General of the chamber of Commerce, announced the opening of the conference. According to the agenda of the meeting, the president and executive vice president of the chamber of Commerce made reports, and the representatives at the meeting listened to and deliberated and adopted two reports.
Then the first session of the 4th Council meeting of the chamber of Commerce was held, and the fourth person in charge and chairman of the board of supervisors of the chamber of commerce were elected by voting. The conference announced the list of the four directors, chairman of the board of supervisors, secretary general, deputy secretary general and honorary president of the chamber of Commerce; reviewed and approved the amendment plan of the articles of association of the chamber of Commerce and the decision on the collection standard of the fourth session of the chamber of Commerce.
Liao Xujie, director of the complaints Center Office of the people's Government of Sichuan Province, read out the reply to the establishment of "complaints workstation of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan Province".
A ceremony was held to confer the license and issue the letter of appointment.
Finally, all the participants stood up and sang "unity is strength".
The emergence of a new leading group of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan Province marks the beginning of a new era. Under the leadership of the new leading group, the chamber of Commerce will make every effort to manage and take advantage of the situation, with more firm confidence, more full enthusiasm and more energetic attitude, to write the grand chapter of pursuing dreams and building dreams of Jiangsu Chamber of Commerce in Sichuan and Jiangsu.
